FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 1 MELBOURNE and BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA.

Tanarra Capital (“Tanarra”) has invested in award-winning and 100 per cent Australian-owned dairy company Barambah Organics (the “Company”). The founding shareholders of Barambah Organics, Ian and Jane Campbell, will maintain significant ownership in the vertically-integrated company, managing operations and supporting its growth strategy.

Barambah Organics bottled its first milk in March 2002 after Ian Campbell converted his fourth-generation family farm, Spring Creek, to organic status. Barambah’s milk, yoghurt, cream and cheese products are now sold in over 800 stores across Australia and internationally.

The Company’s farming operations are spread across three properties in Goondiwindi, QLD, and Raleigh, in the Bellingen region of NSW.

With a focus on maintaining happy, healthy cattle and upholding high integrity across all of the Company’s certified organic, premium products, Barambah Organics has been the recipient of multiple national and international dairy awards. These accolades are a testament to the Company’s commitment to high-quality produce, from farm to table of its loyal customer base.

Investment in Barambah Organics was led by Maja Sliwinski and Tom Forde from Tanarra’s private equity team. “Our investment in Barambah Organics will focus on supporting the next stage of growth of the Company,” said Maja Sliwinski. “Tanarra recognises the importance of maintaining the Company’s culture throughout this next phase of growth.”

“Barambah Organics is an authentic, progressive and responsible corporate citizen that upholds a high level of commitment to animal welfare and the local community and environment,” said Tom Forde. “The Company will also continue to service its loyal customer base by maintaining its supply of carefully produced, high-quality and great tasting organic dairy products.”

We are also pleased to have Matthew Stanton join the team as Chief Executive Officer, with Mark Richards as Chief Financial Officer. Matthew has in-depth experience in the FMCG space having helped grow several businesses, most recently as Managing Director of Accolade Wines ANZ.

Tanarra’s private equity team seeks to partner with growing mid-market and larger scale businesses actively. Barambah Organics is Tanarra’s third private equity investment under its new investment mandate. Tanarra’s principals have a long record in growing and exiting successful PE investments including 2XU, Geotech and Dun & Bradstreet.

Tanarra is an Australasian alternative asset firm led by a group of experienced investment professionals. It has funds under management in excess of A$1.7bn across its operations in private equity, private credit, venture capital and selected strategic investments in public companies. The firm has more than 20 staff and offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Auckland, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
