Ravi brings a wealth of Australian private equity experience with a strong track record of investment generation and returns. He currently leads Partners Group’s Australian private equity team. Prior to that, Ravi was a Partner at Navis Capital Partners. Having joined in 2008, Ravi led various successful deals and generated good IRRs. He is highly respected across the industry and well-regarded for his investment acumen, strategic value-add to companies, and strong negotiation skills.
With his record, Ravi’s appointment is a key step towards our goal of raising a substantial committed capital private equity fund in 2023. He will work closely with all of the existing Tanarra Private Equity (“TPE”) team, in particular Maja Sliwinski who will continue to have a very important deal leadership role within TPE. We would like to thank Maja for leading the business to date. She has achieved a lot with a small team, has set TPE up for success, and has earned a great deal of respect within and outside the firm.
Before entering private equity, Ravi was a management consultant at BCG. He has a Bachelor of Commerce & Economics (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland.
Ravi will be based in the Sydney office and will provide a presence in that market to complement our existing team in Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane. We will continue our strategy of a geographically dispersed team which we see as a key point of deal sourcing advantage and competitive differentiation.
